PDFPixo

QR code generator

Make a QR code for a link, text, Wi-Fi, UPI payment, phone or email.

Type a link or text, or fill in Wi-Fi or UPI details, and download a sharp QR code as PNG or SVG. The code never expires and tracks nobody.

What this tool makes

A QR code is a square pattern that a phone camera turns back into text: a website address, a message, a phone number or the details of a Wi-Fi network. This tool makes that square for you. Choose what the code should hold, type the details, pick a colour and size, and download a sharp image you can print on a poster, a shop counter, a visiting card, a menu or a wedding invitation.

A code that never expires

Many free QR websites quietly make a "dynamic" code. It points to their own server first and only then forwards people to your link, so they can count every scan, show adverts, or switch the code off when a free trial ends. PDFPixo does not do this. Your link or text is stored inside the pattern itself, so the code keeps working for as long as the printed square can be read, nobody counts who scans it, and there is no account to pay for. The one limit of a code like this is that it cannot be changed after printing; if your link changes, make and print a new code.

Wi-Fi codes for guests

Choose Wi-Fi network, type the network name exactly as it appears on phones, pick the security type and type the password. When a guest points an Android phone or an iPhone camera at the code, the phone offers to join the network without anyone reading the password aloud. Remember that the password is inside the code, so anyone who can scan it can join. Put it where only your guests or customers will see it.

UPI payment codes

For UPI, type your UPI ID, the name you want payers to see and, if you like, a fixed amount and a short note. Payment apps that understand UPI links can open the code and fill in your details, so the payer only has to check and approve. Leave the amount empty if each customer pays a different sum. A wrong letter in a UPI ID sends money to someone else or nowhere, so always scan the finished code with your own UPI app and check the name it shows before you print it. Many banks and UPI apps can also give you their own official code; use whichever you prefer, but test it the same way.

Where people use it

Shops print a UPI code at the counter and a Wi-Fi code on the wall. Teachers put a link to class notes on the board. Restaurants link their menu, doctors link an appointment form, and small businesses add a code to visiting cards so customers can call or message in one tap. Families print a location link on invitation cards so guests reach the venue without asking for directions.

Size, colour and damage protection

For phones and screens, 1024 pixels is plenty. For large posters choose 2048 pixels, or download SVG, which stays sharp at any size and is what printers prefer. Dark squares on a light background scan best; PDFPixo refuses colour pairs that are too close to read. Damage protection lets a code survive scratches, stains or a small logo stuck on top: Medium suits most uses, and High is worth it for codes printed on rough paper or cloth. Higher protection makes the pattern denser, so keep it at Medium for long links. Keep the white border around the code when you place it in a design; scanners need that quiet space.

Private by design

The code is drawn inside your browser. Your Wi-Fi password, UPI ID and phone number are not sent to PDFPixo or any other server, and nothing is saved after you close the page. There is no sign-up, no watermark on the code and no limit on how many codes you make.

How to use it

Frequently asked questions

Will my QR code stop working after some time?
No. The link or text is stored inside the code, not on a server, so there is nothing that can expire.
Can I change the link after printing the code?
No. A code that never expires also cannot be edited. Make a new code if your link changes.
Is the UPI QR code safe to use for my shop?
It opens your UPI ID in the payer's app, the same as typing it. Scan it once with your own UPI app and check the name before printing, and keep an eye on your bank messages as usual.
Why does PDFPixo say my colours are too close?
Phones read QR codes by the difference between dark and light squares. If the two colours are too similar many phones fail, so pick a dark colour on a light background.
Which format should I download?
PNG works everywhere, including WhatsApp and documents. SVG is best for printing large, because it stays sharp at any size.
