Turn SVG logos, icons and drawings into PNG, JPG or WebP pictures at exactly the size you need.
SVG and PNG are different kinds of picture
An SVG file does not store pixels. It stores instructions such as "draw a blue circle here" and "write this word there", which is why an SVG logo looks sharp on a phone and on a billboard alike. A PNG, JPG or WebP file is a grid of coloured pixels with a fixed width and height. Designers love SVG, but many places that accept pictures do not: WhatsApp, most social networks, many upload forms, older office software and some printers all want a normal image. This tool draws your SVG at the size you choose and saves the result as a PNG, JPG or WebP picture.
Choosing the size
PDFPixo reads the size written inside the SVG, from its width and height or its viewBox, and offers 1×, 2× and 4× of that size. 1× matches the size the designer set, 2× is a good default for sharp results on modern phone screens, and 4× suits printing. For an exact size, choose Custom width and type the number of pixels you need; the height follows automatically so the drawing is never stretched. The largest output is 8192 pixels on the longest side and about 16 megapixels in total, the most that every phone browser can handle; anything bigger is reduced, and the tool tells you when that happens. If an SVG has no size written in it at all, PDFPixo treats it as 512 by 512 pixels.
Transparent or white background
Logos and icons usually have no background, so the area around the shape is see-through. PNG and WebP keep that transparency, which lets you place the picture on any colour later. JPG cannot store transparency, so for JPG the empty area is filled with white. You can also choose a white background for PNG and WebP when the picture will go on a document or a form where see-through areas might show up as black or grey.
Many files at once
You can add a whole set of icons in one go. Every file is converted with the same settings, and the results arrive together in one ZIP file with the original names and the new ending. If two files share a name, the second gets a number so nothing is overwritten. A single SVG is downloaded as a plain image without a ZIP.
Where people use it
Small business owners turn the SVG logo from their designer into a PNG for WhatsApp Business, Instagram and printed bills. App and website makers export icon sets at several sizes. Teachers and students put SVG diagrams from the internet into slides and documents that only accept normal pictures. Printers ask for a large PNG at 4× when a client sends only an SVG file.
What can look different
Text inside an SVG is drawn with the fonts installed on your own device. If the designer used a special font that your phone or computer does not have, the words will appear in a similar standard font instead; ask for a version where the text has been turned into outlines if the exact lettering matters. Pictures that an SVG links from another website are not loaded, and animations are saved as a single still frame. Everything drawn inside the file itself, including colours, gradients, shapes and most effects, comes out as it should.
Safe and private
SVG files can contain small programs. PDFPixo draws them as pictures, a mode in which browsers never run those programs or fetch outside files, so an unknown SVG cannot do anything to your device. The conversion happens entirely in your browser; your files are not uploaded and nothing is kept after you close the page. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of files.

Frequently asked questions
- Will the PNG be as sharp as the SVG?
- At the size you choose, yes. A PNG has a fixed number of pixels, so pick a size large enough for where you will use it, such as 2× for screens or 4× for print.
- Why did the background turn white in my JPG?
- JPG cannot store see-through areas, so they are filled with white. Choose PNG or WebP to keep transparency.
- Why does the text in my picture use a different font?
- SVG text is drawn with the fonts on your device. If the original font is not installed, a similar font is used. Ask for an SVG with the text converted to outlines to keep the exact look.
- Can I convert PNG back to SVG?
- Not with this tool. Turning pixels back into drawing instructions is called tracing and gives very different results depending on the picture.
- Are my SVG files uploaded?
- No. They are read and converted inside your browser, so they never leave your phone or computer.
