Put many pictures on one A4 page, exactly where you want

Sometimes a form or an office asks for several things on one printed page: the front and back of two ID cards, a few receipts, a passport photo next to a document, or pictures for a school project. This tool gives you a blank A4 page in your browser. Add your pictures and move and resize them by hand until the page looks right, then download a print-ready PDF or JPG.

Moving and resizing

When you add pictures they are first arranged in a neat grid. Drag any picture with your finger or mouse to move it, and pull the small square at its bottom-right corner to make it bigger or smaller; the shape of the picture always stays the same. Press 'Arrange automatically' at any time to go back to a tidy grid. You can switch the page between portrait and landscape.

Exact sizes in centimetres

Tap a picture to select it. You can then type its width in centimetres, or press 'ID card 8.56 cm' to make it the real width of an Aadhaar, PAN or bank card, or '3.5 cm' for a passport photo. 'Turn 90°' rotates the selected picture. These sizes are correct on paper when you print at actual size (100 percent) and not 'fit to page'.

Print quality

In the PDF, each picture is drawn at 300 dots per inch of its printed size and placed on a real A4 page, so text on cards stays sharp. The JPG option makes one A4 picture at 200 DPI, which is handy for sharing on a phone. Thin cut lines can be added around every picture.

Good to know

Pictures can overlap if you place them on top of each other; the one added later is printed on top. For the front and back of one ID card at real size with no dragging, the ID Card Print tool is quicker.

An example

A tenant needs to give the house owner copies of an Aadhaar card, a PAN card and a passport photo. He adds the three pictures, sets both cards to 8.56 cm and the photo to 3.5 cm, places them on one page and prints a single sheet.

Phone and computer

The page works with touch on phones and with a mouse on computers. On a small phone screen the page is shown smaller, but the sizes in the downloaded PDF are always the real ones you set.

Private by design

Everything happens inside your own browser. Your photos and the details you type are never uploaded to a server, and nothing is kept after you close the page. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. For family photos and identity papers this matters more than anything else.
