Business Card Maker

Visiting cards with your logo, photo and a QR code that saves your number — print PDF, A4 sheet or image.

Also called: visiting card maker, business card design, card with QR code.

Choose one of eight designs, type your name, business and contact details, add a logo and a QR code that saves your number, and download a print PDF, an A4 sheet of cards or a picture.

Make a professional visiting card in a few minutes

This tool makes business cards, also called visiting cards, for shop owners, salespeople, doctors, agents, freelancers and small companies. You choose one of eight designs, type your name, your business and your contact details, and the card changes on the screen while you type. You see the front and the back side by side. When the card looks right, download a print PDF for a printing press, an A4 page full of cards to print and cut yourself, or a picture to send on WhatsApp. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many cards you make.

Eight designs, each in four colours

The designs are a clean white card with a coloured edge, a two-tone card with a dark panel for the business name, a modern card with coloured corner shapes, a minimal card with everything in the middle, a black and gold card with a thin double border, a card with a coloured wave at the bottom, a shop card with a bold banner and a list of services for small businesses, and a card with a round photo of you for agents and consultants. Each design comes in four colour sets, and you can pick your own main colour, text colour and background colour. The small pictures at the top of the form show your own details in every design, so you can compare before you choose.

Your details, line by line

There are boxes for your name, designation, business name, tagline, a phone number, a WhatsApp or second number, email, website, address and one extra line for something like a GSTIN, a licence number or working hours. Every line has a small outline icon such as a phone or a map pin; you can choose plain icons, icons in circles or squares, or no icons. Leave any box empty and that line is simply not printed, so a card with only a name and a phone number looks as neat as a full one. You can type in Hindi or English in any box; the letters are drawn with Poppins, an open-source font that has both Hindi and English letters, and there are two more font styles.

Logo, photo and services

Add your logo and set its size. If your logo was saved on a white background, one switch makes the white parts see-through so the logo sits nicely on a coloured panel. The design with your photo shows the picture in a circle; zoom and move it to fit. Without a photo it shows your initials in the circle instead. You can also write up to eight services or products, one per line. They appear on the back of the card, or on the front in the shop design.

A QR code that does something useful

The QR code can do one of three things. It can save your contact: when someone scans it, the phone offers to add your name, business, designation, numbers, email and website to the contacts, so nobody has to type your number. The address is left out of the code on purpose, because a shorter code is easier to scan. It can open a link, such as your website, your Google Maps location or your Instagram page. Or it can take a UPI payment to the UPI ID you type. The code is made on your device and does not expire, and it is always drawn in black on white so that phone cameras read it easily. It goes on the back of the card with a short line under it, or on the front if you prefer.

Ready for printing

Cards are made in the 3.5 × 2 inch size used by most printers in India and the USA, or the 85 × 55 mm European size, wide or tall. The print PDF has one page for the front and one for the back at 600 dots per inch, so even small text stays sharp, and it can include a 3 mm bleed and crop marks that a printing press uses to cut cleanly. The A4 sheet puts ten wide cards or nine tall cards on one page, with cut lines in the margin; print the page at 100% size, and print the second page on the back of the paper, flipping it on the long edge. For WhatsApp or email, the picture is also 600 DPI; with a back side you get a ZIP file with two pictures.

Private and free

The card is drawn entirely inside your browser. Your name, numbers, logo and photo are never uploaded. If you switch on ‘Remember my details on this device’, the text and settings of the card are saved only in this browser, so you can come back later and make a new batch; the logo and photo are not saved. The names, numbers and addresses that appear at first are only examples, and example.com is a reserved example address, so remember to replace them before printing.
