What this tool makes

This tool turns a short form into a clean, printable A4 invoice in PDF format. Fill in your business details, your customer, and the items you sold, and PDFPixo works out every line, the tax, the grand total and the total in words. GST tax invoice or simple bill

Choose GST tax invoice if your business has a GSTIN. Each item can carry its own HSN or SAC code and its own GST rate, from 0% up to 40%, matching the current GST slabs. The tool looks at the state of your business and the state of your customer. When both are in the same state, the tax is split equally into CGST and SGST; when they are in different states, the whole tax is shown as IGST, and the place of supply is printed in the header. Choose simple invoice when you are not registered for GST or you bill customers abroad; no tax is added, and you can pick rupees, dollars, euros, pounds or dirhams.

Many items, with every number checked

Add up to 100 items on one invoice, each with a quantity, a unit such as pcs, kg or hours, and a rate. Amounts are calculated to the paisa, the tax on each line is shown separately, and the summary lists the taxable value and each tax before the total. You can round the total to a whole rupee, and the round-off is printed as its own line so the numbers always add up. Long invoices continue on the next page, and the table heading repeats on every page so each page is easy to read.

Your language prints correctly

Many free invoice makers can only print English letters, so a shop name or address in Hindi turns into empty boxes. If you enter your UPI ID, the invoice gets a QR code with the exact bill amount and invoice number already filled in. The customer scans it with any UPI app, such as Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm, and pays without typing anything, which means fewer wrong amounts and faster payment.

What this tool does not do

This tool makes the invoice document; it does not file returns or talk to the GST portal. Businesses that must issue e-invoices with an IRN from the government portal, because their turnover is above the limit, should still generate the IRN through that portal or their accounting software. Composition dealers issue a bill of supply rather than a tax invoice, so they should use the simple invoice option. Always check the GST rate and HSN code for your goods with your accountant.

How to use it

  1. Choose the bill type Pick GST tax invoice if you have a GSTIN, or simple invoice if you do not charge GST.

Is an invoice made here valid for GST?
It contains the details a GST tax invoice needs, such as invoice number, date, GSTINs, HSN codes, taxable value, tax rates and amounts and place of supply. You are responsible for the numbers you enter; check rates and codes with your accountant.
When is IGST used instead of CGST and SGST?
When your business and your customer are in different states, the tool charges IGST. When both are in the same state, the same tax is split equally into CGST and SGST.
Can I write the shop name and items in Hindi?
Yes. The invoice prints Hindi and other Indian scripts exactly as you type them.
