A simple one-page resume or bio-data

This tool makes a clean A4 resume or bio-data as a PDF from the details you type. You do not need Word, a template or an account. Fill in the boxes, add a photo if you want, and download a neat document to print, email or upload to a job form.

Resume or bio-data

Choose "Resume" for private jobs: it shows your name and job title at the top, contact details, a short profile, work experience, education, skills, languages and other details, each under its own heading. Choose "Bio-data" for the traditional Indian format often asked for government jobs, apprenticeships and local employers: it shows your details in a two-column table, with father's name and date of birth near the top.

Writing the details

Type each item on its own line; the line breaks are kept in the PDF. For work experience, a good pattern is company, post and years on one line and what you did on the next. For education, list the newest first with the board or university, year and marks. Empty boxes are simply left out of the PDF, so you only fill what you have.

Photo and declaration

A passport-style photo can be added at the top right; crop it first with the edit photo tool for a neat look. Switch on the declaration to add the usual line "I hereby declare that the information given above is true to the best of my knowledge", with place, date and your name for signing.

Language

The headings in the PDF are in English, which most employers expect. Your own details can be typed in any language, including Hindi; the PDF shows them correctly.

How the PDF is made

The document is laid out in your browser and saved as A4 pages. If you write a lot, it continues on a second page. The pages are saved as pictures of the text, so words cannot be selected or searched in the PDF. Some company websites read text out of uploaded resumes automatically; for those, a Word file can work better. For printing, emailing to a person, or form uploads, the PDF is ideal.

File size

A one-page resume is usually around 100 to 200 KB. If a form asks for less, use Compress PDF on the result.

An example

Sana fills in her name, the post "Data entry operator", her phone and email, two past jobs, her B.Com details and skills like Excel and Tally, adds a photo, switches on the declaration and downloads a one-page PDF to send on WhatsApp to a local office.

Private by design

Everything happens inside your own browser. Your files and the details you type are never uploaded to a server, and nothing is kept after you close the page. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. For personal papers such as ID cards, bank details and salary documents, this matters more than anything else.

  2. Fill in your details One item per line; leave unused boxes empty.
  3. Add photo and declaration Both are optional.
